State police seek drunk drivers

The Illinois State Police Department will target areas in Tazewell and Peoria counties through February with saturation patrols in search of intoxicated drivers. Alcohol Countermeasure Enforcement (ACE) patrols will be in search of impaired drivers and illegal transporation of alcohol and other drugs, said Lieutenant Mike Welsh, state police District 8 commander.
